Cross Cultural Learner Centre
The London Cross Cultural Learner Centre is a community organization that exists to provide integration services and support to newcomers and to promote intercultural awareness and understanding. The London Cross Cultural Learner Centre has been operating in London since 1968. During the first 12 years, the CCLC was part of the University of Western Ontario and services focused primarily on providing education and information to the community on global and international development issues. The CCLC was the first Global Education Centre in Canada, funded through the Public Participation Program of Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA). CCLC is now well known locally and nationally as a one-stop, multi-service support network for newcomers yet still maintains its reputation in the global education field.
WIL Employment Connections
WIL is a non-profit organization that provides quality employment support services and career development solutions to the London region. WIL also offers a wide variety of employment preparation services to help you on your journey to employment. Many of our programs are tailored to meet the needs of immigrants and newcomers to Canada, though we offer programs for any unemployed adults, including those born in Canada. We provide the help you need to prepare for work and effectively job search, and help clients identify career and employment goals, provide programs that are designed to help clients achieve success, and offer educational upgrading tools to increase your chances.
Immploy connects employers with immigrant talent to foster economic prosperity through programs that include Immploy Job Match and Immploy Mentorship. Immploy Job Match connects job-ready immigrant talent with jobs in Southwestern Ontario. Immploy Mentorship connects immigrant job seekers (mentees) with regional business leaders (mentors) through occupation and industry-specific matches and event.
